These are Evelyn's 10month pictures. She's growing so fast! We're certain she'll be walking soon because she can stand just fine on her own until she realizes she's doing it on her own, then she'll sit right down. But she walks EVERYWHERE around the apartment hanging onto whatever she can get a hold of. Even if it's knee high to her, she bends over to grab it and scoots along. She's just nervous to do it by her own self. Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
I love that I blog and let me tell you why. Our laptop crashed a while back and we got a hard drive transfer thing so we could get all of our info off of our laptop hard drive onto our new computer...and the hard drive is totally fried. Completely irretrievable . SO if it weren't for my blog posts, We would have totally lost all of our pictures from last November until March. Even though we now only have a handful of pictures, at least we still have them and I'm not even gonna complain about everything else we lost from that drive. And this is the latest. Daisy tried to get her toy back from Evelyn by mauling her.
So our video camera won't load onto our computer. We even bought a new one and it was, in short, stupid so we took it back. BUT Steven had a good idea that when I want little video's to use our standard point and shoot camera...so we're back on the video wagon. This weekend was conference weekend and we thought it was high time Evelyn learn to color. She did suprisingly well. She stayed focused for quite a few minutes before she tried to eat the crayola twistables and tear the paper.
We also got a quick family shot.
It also snowed on Sunday after being almost 80* on Saturday so Evelyn and Daisy spent some of conference watching the snow
And then I also discovered she can clap on demand and only recently will she laugh when she's tickled. AND I think everyone sounds stupid when they talk to babies so pardon my comments.
So for the really exciting new...I've been told to be on the down low for quite a while so I'm so excited to be able to share now! A while back, Steven got into Eastern Washington University, so first big news; We're moving back to Washington!!! Why we decided to go to Eastern...Steven got accepted into their assistanceship program which mean he'll be getting his MBA paid for! No student loans! Woot Woot! So he starts classes in June and starts the MBA program in September. He'll be going to school part time and then working for the university helping teach undergrad classes and working teachers and what not. We're not sure all it entails, just that his school is paid for and that we get a stipend for the work he'll be doing with the school. Evelyn and I will be flying to WA May 25, and then Steven and his brother David will be driving our moving van up there a few days later on Memorial Day Weekend. We'll be living happily with my parents for a month maybe until we find an apartment to move into. We're all very excited for the move. My mommy can't wait to be able to see Evelyn more. And we get to celebrate her first birthday at home so that's exciting too. However, I did get some bad news yesterday. We got a new computer and it's a 64bit, so my favorite games won't run on it; Treasure Mountain and Kings Quest VI. BUT we're going to try and run dosbox on the new computer and see how it works. I also had a photo shoot on Friday and think the pictures turned out really well. I'll be putting them up on my photo blog in the next few days. I wanna make sure the family gets them before I post them. SO if your not a follower of my photo blog...you should be. memoriesbykelsey.blogspot.com
