Fall Photo's

The best of the bunch...yes I said best

And then the ones that wouldn't go on our wall but are fun to look at

So I Took October Off From Blogging....You'll See Why

So first we start off with naughty Caden... taking his milk the way he likes it, that is to say horizontally, but this time didn't want to loose sight of me so he parked it in the middle of the floor with his meme and a bagel.

Then onto even naughtier, not wanting to leave my room with his mile and meme
Caden sure loves his GG. He's telling her all about his new orange screw driver here.

It's a lucky day when we sleep in the car. Boot up and all

 Same day...helping make dinner obviously
And little Evelyn and me went for a walk on the mountain on afternoon, looking for the boys, who were cutting wood.

After we found them, Evelyn had a great time helping throw the logs. Apparently before we got there, Caden was also helping with the wood throwing

 Such a majestic creature....

Snuggling with Papa after a hard morning of cutting wood. Not dirty at all...

Now this....this is how Caden cleans his room. Before each and every car is put away, each and everyone in thoroughly inspected for every possible angle with a flashlight

Yep...that was all the angels of the red fire truck. Now you may think this is just wasting time, but one truck did not pass inspection. Sadly, the yellow fire truck was missing a wheel and was thrown away
Our ward has gotten ridiculously huge over the last few months so its not uncommon for us to do sacrament meeting in the primary room and then Caden become the main speaker.
Every Monday, Evelyn has been doing riding lessons and she loves it. Caden however would not even sit on Daisy until this month. He didn't ride but he was all smiles just sitting.
I really enjoy the ride home from riding lessons.....
and this...this is Evelyn undermining me. When Caden gets in trouble, big sister Evelyn is there to console.."oh Caden, what did mommy say?...oh she didn't mean it....lets get your meme and lay down...shhh, shhh it'll be okay, you just can't do that anymore..."
Caden got a new tool bench and tools at a yard sale. BEST DAY EVER!
Costco's Christmas toys came out this month and Caden tested each and every one of them
He really is a sweet little boy and he loves to cuddle. You just gotta watch out for the surprise eye pokes. And if your thinking, oh I wear glasses, I'll be okay....your wrong. He can do a surprisingly quick under and jab method.

You know the walk wasn't a success when a mile from home you have this on your shoulders, and are pushing the boy version in the stroller
We just love Costco. For $2 we can get out of the house, and not fight for 20min while they eat ice cream.

My version of BEST DAY EVER!!
 This too...BEST DAY EVER!
Caden driving up Grammy and Papa's road.

 And Evelyn riding passenger

Evelyn talked me into sleeping in the wall bed at Grammy and Papa's....with all of our childhood stuffed animals
I think it might have been a little warm in there
Helping Papa on a nice fall day
Playing pirates on that same day. Evelyn's having to walk the plank while Caden is fending her off with his stick sword....safe game really...
What happens when you ask Caden to put away his green popper for the 10th time and you think he actually did it but find it the next day...
 Look at that smile....

Evelyn got out our nativity puzzle and put it together without the stable box. It's hard to figure out in it's case let along freestlye
Did I mention how much Caden LOVES his GG
So I guess really I should take the blame for this one. Who keeps peanut butter and crackers in climbing distance really? Sure he can climb all the way up for the jar and a sleeve of crackers, but can't open the drawer for a butter knife? We're still picking crackers our of the jar

Me and Evelyn went to a Bunco party as Prices Right contestants. My sign said 600

And Evelyn came home from school with this one day...Translation " Evelyn would you want to meet at moose park or at our house love Ana"
We've already fired up our Pandora Christmas stations
Caden does a lot to paly with Evelyn...

Even if he looks bored out of his mind playing tea party wearing a cat suit...

He mostly enjoys it....

But NOTHING compared to riding the tractor. Boy though and through...even if he wears the occasional dress..

oh yeah, tractors and the ninja sword. That sword surprisingly lasted about two days before it found its way into the trash. This was at Josh and Angela's harvest party on the hay ride.
Caden loved it so much, he rode every time. Twice all by his self.

Evelyn loved it a little less

Got a new hair cut. I am loving my new stylist
Caden showing off his sweet new Paw Patrol sneakers.
Josee collecting eggs. Look close, her belly is covered in self made red tatoos

Some of the things I've crocheted over the month

 Enough said...

Evelyn and baby Dean when they came to visit. She sure loves him.

We....me and the kids just love Daisy.

Grammy had her hip replacement surgery so we got to go see her at St. Lukes....they LOVED the bed
 Step one: Lasso Grammy's foot
Step two: Pull as hard as you possibly can
We got to have dinner there a couple times. The kids loved the cafeteria

 You just never know...

Found the cutest church sweater ever on that Caden will actually want to wear. Getting dressed for church is a serious struggle every week.

Another visit to Grammy in the Hospital

I was working outside this day and Caden was being unruly so I sent him inside for alone time, then couldn't find him for a brief minute because he'd fallen asleep in the living room when he normally picks anyone's bed

We got to go to Evelyn's school to help with the kindergarten harvest party

Evelyn was Frozen Fever Elsa and Caden was a power ranger
Caden's birthday was at the end of this month and the present that Sabrina sent game with this note.... Who's it from?

Evelyn made Caden giver her a hug after she opened the present from her
Amanda and Jason sent some construction trucks and construction dress up clothes. So happy. He takes 2 trucks and his box of Thomas books that Sabrina or Devin sent to bed with him every night.
Aunt Renee came to babysit so me and Steven could go out so Caden tried on her afro wig.
Evelyn came and told me the other day that she just had so much ironing to do, so I was like, ok well better get it done. after she went to bed I found all this...that is a lot of ironing!
Caden doing his look and find from inside a box...pretty standard around our house
The biggest undertaking this month was Caden's birthday present. I loft bed shaped like a tractor. It took a bit to draw up the plans. Then after the plans were drawn up....I got nervous about him sleeping four and a half feet off the ground...
The week leading up to bed construction....

So I made the railings taller and went for it. It was quite an undertaking to do alone. It did fall on me at one point and knocked a few..6 ribs out of place but easy recovery and the kids helped with some painting and then we put it all together as a family....until the kids got under foot and had to be removed from the room.

I wasn't sure if Caden being able to fit all the way in his toy box was a good thing or not...

I added some bungee to make a stuffed animal storage off the ground
and made the back of the big tire a chalk board

First night in the bed...Success! there will be no rolling out of this bed. We do have a problem with it being right next to his blinds...they won't be lasting much longer I think
