Evelyn has officially gotten the coolest toy ever. Aunt Bean sent her a baby carrier and she just thinks she is one hot mommy.
The kids love the fruit harvest season. We've been able to help pick pears for the last few years. I think this is the first year in 4 years that nearly all the pears made it into the box without bite marks.
So after some persistent pestering, my daddy scored me these sweet lockers. I;m so excited about them. We, and by we I mean my oh so smart daddy, got them all aligned and cleaned up last weekend and they are ready for display.
While I was power washing I didn't realize Evelyn was just on the other side on the lockers and she was loving getting sprayed.
Amanda and Jason sent us the best present ever! So Caden had me put on his new shirt and water bottle from Uncle Jason and send a picture to him. Oh how this little boy loves his Jason.
It's still a struggle to get Caden to dress up for church. If only there were a solution....
Oh wait....there is
Evelyn however, would dress up and go to church daily.
We grew sunflowers in the parentals garden this year and made a nice fall arrangement for their table
Evelyn sure loves her some pancakes....that's her riding Daisy, and Angela leading them. Pancake really is a nice medium.
Steven was able to go to Evelyn's riding lesson on labor day. He was shocked at the size of the bore. I mean, really, it is the biggest pig I've ever seen. I think Angela said like 800 pounds of big pig...650 though if he were to be castrated.
These kids sure do love the chicken coup. Nothing quite like real egg hunting
Caden calls it the chicken cupboard.
Caden's still a little nervous about getting on Daisy but he sure gives this thing a run for its money.
And Josee was giving him lessons, "If you put your feet in the stirrups, then he runs, but if they're on top then you bounce."
The first week of school, Evelyn thought I wanted pictures of her getting on the bus every day. I took a couple but mostly pretended.
I got to do the flowers and cake for Angela's sister, Carlee's, wedding. It was a ton of fun.
And Caden was such a good model.
Caden is such a snuggler. This is how he wakes me up. Steamroller to the face.
After school one day me and Evelyn we playing patty cake when she say, "Mom, I got P on my hand." Awesome...well in fact she did have A P written on her hand. He's a big boy but still so small.
Steven shook him up a little. He loved it.
This is the card I made for my Daddy's 55th birthday
Caden always has a struggle driving home from Sunday supper
Still can't quite stay in bed
Another bus stop picture
